The 29th Annual Honolulu Festival has officially come to a close, and we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us and made this year’s event so special.
Over the course of three days, we had the honor of welcoming visitors from around the world to celebrate cultural exchange and friendship. From the educational school tours and the Friendship Gala, to the vibrant craft and food booths and the dynamic stage performances at Hawaii Convention Center, Ala Moana Center, and Waikiki Beach Walk, every moment was a beautiful reflection of the diverse cultures that the festival strives to connect and celebrate.
On the final day, the festival continued with the Grand Parade along Kalakaua Avenue, where colorful floats, cultural performances, and community groups filled the streets with energy and excitement. Later that evening, the festival concluded with the spectacular Nagaoka Fireworks over Waikiki Beach, a breathtaking display that symbolizes peace and friendship between Japan and the United States. This powerful finale served as a reminder of the festival’s mission — to foster harmony, understanding, and cultural unity.
We would like to sincerely thank all the attendees and visitors who celebrated with us, our vendors, sponsors, and business partners for their valuable contributions, and the performers, parade participants, and cultural groups who brought their traditions to life through incredible performances. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated volunteers and staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event possible.
The Honolulu Festival exists to promote cultural understanding, harmony, and peace, and seeing this mission come to life once again through the festival has been truly meaningful.
As we look ahead, we are excited to share that the 30th Annual Honolulu Festival is tentatively scheduled for March, 2026. We encourage you to stay tuned for updates and more information on our official website: https://www.honolulufestival.com.
Once again, thank you to everyone who was a part of the 29th Annual Honolulu Festival. Your warmth, support, and passion for cultural exchange are what make the Honolulu Festival such a cherished and special event. We look forward to welcoming you all again next year.
