The winners of the 18th Annual Honolulu Festival’s Maui Mikoshi Design Contest were the students of St. Anthony School.

The theme of this year’s Honolulu Festival was “Bonding together, hand in hand.” It was incorporated into the design of mikoshi by the 20 students under the guidance of a teacher named Tokie Sydney. Also the students expressed the message of “the world is as one” to create such a colorful design.
