Started his career as an enka singer when his grandmother who is a big fan of enka music, introduced him to her numerous old records by enka greats such as Kitajima Saburo, Misora Hibari, Ishikawa Sayuri , Aoe Mina, Mori Shinichi, Yashiro Aki, etc… and the “Enka Bug” bit him! From there, he won singing contests, and kept going. Today, he is a full-fledged professional, having written originals such as, Akai Tsuki, Torao No Tairyobune, Hawaii Shigure, (Otoko No) Yume Masuri, Ame No Waipahu and more, currently playing on the popular Global Internet Radio, RADIO GOGO.
