Japan 3B Gymnastics Association just celebrated its 40th anniversary. Our gymnastics can be enjoyed by babies as well as seniors. Three implements are used to move our bodies to the sound of music. We have 120 of our group leaders participating in this year’s Honolulu Festival from the Kanto region west of Tokyo on the Japan Sea side of Japan.
3B Gymnastics refers to the use of the ball, weights and bands to perform our exercise routine as a group to the music of our choice. This exercise program enables members to remain youthful and to alleviate the stress of daily living by practicing flexibility and endurance of all parts of the body. It is the foundation of maintaining physical strength. We combine fun in the routines to relax our mind and body. We also adapt our routines to accommodate our members’ differences in age and strength. Our group that will be performing in the Grand Parade is 150 members strong.
