The Nishikawa Ryu school is based in Tokyo, Japan and is the oldest Nihon Buyo (Japanese classical dance) school starting from the 18th century. Nishikawa Minokimi is a student of Nishikawa Minosuke V, son of headmaster Nishikawa Senzo X, a National Living Treasure of Japan. Nishikawa Minokimi performs, teaches, and studies in Hawaii, the SF Bay Area, and Japan.
