Takasaki Hiroshi won the overall championship along with the older brother of the Yoshida Brothers at the 1999 Tsugaru Shamisen All Japan Competition. He has won other titles at various competitions. He successfully performed at New York’s Carnegie Hall in 2007. He is busy performing internationally as well as in Japan.
