In the Mishima District of Nagaoka City, the National Log-Sawing Competition is held annually. Teams of two contestants compete in sawing a log with a large tandem saw as fast as they can. At our booth, visitors can have a hands-on experience of sawing a log. Mishimarutakun, the mascot character for the competition, welcomes visitors at the booth.
