In 2002 the elementary school system was revised to a five days a week curriculum. Our group was organized since to develop our youth into wholesome and healthy children. We were able to create a new culture, something that we did not have at Zendoji. Zendoji Yamabiko Daiko was initiated by our elementary school representative. And our name was given in honor of the echo that can be heard at Mt. Miminou. Our participants consist of ten powerful high school students. They have just completed their final exams and now are able to concentrate on practicing for this performance. Our group is made up of children and we hope that they will not inconvenience you. We ask you to cheer them on with open and loving hearts. The sound of their taiko will energize you. Please enjoy our powerful and youthful taiko performance.
